Can someone tell me the basic format of this comp? ie are the heats on sat, finals sun?
Prize giving/pissup sat or sunday?

Depends on the waves bro. In an ideal world it would be comp all day Saturday - Prize Giving Saturday night. Depending on waves it may run in to Sunday and prize giving Sunday afternoon.

Last year I think we got it all done and dusted on Saturday which was great and if we can (wave and competitor numbers dependent) we will do the same this year!

Do you have an 'only DK left section'???.......

I'm back home in Oamaru ..I had full intentions of hitchin down for the comp and helping with judging all day/both days etc.. but, things have changed. so unbelievably much.

since my only brother's tragic death on sunday, I won't be hangin out at the comp the whole time, and my head is definitely not straight to judge

so I will be chillin out at home in oamaz this weekend, but I'm thinking that maybe, not entirely sure yet, but to take my mind off things , and Nick would probably want me to carry on as normal -could do a wee mish down the road to dunnerz and compete.

so yeh I won't be at rego on the fri night, which I just realised then that that's tonight, wow that came up quickly , this whole week has been a sleepless blur.
but yeh so I'll be a possibility in the womens division ..which I know is the smallest division anyway so you won't have to alter the draw drastically or anything to account for me being in the comp, or not in the comp.

also, I may bring Cam, a wee grommet from oamaz (TWO bodyboarders in oamaz now yahoo!) so pencil in another one, (another maybe, not definite) in the U16 division (or possibly U18, I'm pretty sure he's 15, but could be 16)
not sure if he's actually even keen to compete to be honest, but I do want to show him around, get him amongst the scene. especially get him to meet all the dunnerz booger crew /community -cause here in oamaz, it's pretty much just me.

please could you just txt me the approx schedule on the day, and I'll go from there

Perhaps tis a weekend where tis not meant to happen. Family and I decided Friday to head Dn ways in escape of the weather and hopefully pumping beachies. Alas the clag followed and today meant little joy. Not even the trout were happy.
