Hey fellas,

Most of you have probably heard rumors of a new online magazine starting up soon called ISOmag.

Well the rumors are true! Issue 1 should be out sometime in mid March and the website - www.isomag.co.nz will be up and running over the next couple of weeks.

ISOmag is a collaboration of some of the best photographers and writers in NZ Bodyboarding with the aim to bring you higher quality pics and deeper, more meaningful articles. ISOmag will be published 4 times per year and we already have a bunch of amazing images to kick start issue 1!

For now, find us on Facebook and stay tuned!

Great shizzle.

Just when I thought the NZ boogering scene was starting to stagnate....bang!!!! You pull this out of your ass.....nice work....was wondering why the Goose and Gardy had been so quiet of late.

Excellent work fullas and really looking forward to it.

Awesome... can't wait for the first issue. Guess the only downside is we have to wait 1/4 year each time to get to see gardys latest shots!

Yeah dozer, anyone can contribute! Just the old criteria - NZ waves or NZ boogs overseas.

Will hopefully have some galleries up on the site for leftover pics to keep you all amped between issues!

I've had a sneak preview of some of the content, its looking good, beautiful photography as we've all come to expect by now. I think both standup's and lids will be frothing on it.

Good things take a little bit more time. From what I hear all the content is there, it is just the painstaking task of layout and piecing it all together to get it looking sexy once it is all together that has to happen now.

Id rather wait a couple more weeks and see this thing looking amazing rather than spit it out now with the guys not 100% happy with the product.

This is gonna be amazing. Awesome work Goose, Gardy and all those involved! My XXXXL hat goes off to you guys!

An update on this so far...

Muss has most of the content now i think and will begin designing each spread. Bear in mind this takes time, laying everything out typography etc. If you've ever designed a catalogue or booklet, you'll know!

I setup hosting last night and updated the DNS, currently there's nothing there except a generic holding page. I will need time to code the website, which Muss has about finished designing i think. Then i will be integrating it into a CMS and making sure the whole thing works properly.

Meanwhile we both have our day jobs and this is all being done for free. We'll get there though, i think its gonna be worth the wait and the long term spin off is going to be really positive for the sport as a whole in this country.

Mean Glans. You guys know your shit. So stoked to have you guys on board!

Glans is right - everyone involved in this mag is in it for the love and we all have to squeeze it in around work/surf/family etc while not getting paid to do it!

It will be worth the wait peoples!

Agreed. Never rush a product like this to market. Especially the first issue, which sets the standard for all that will follow.

Slow and steady. Attention to detail is what makes the best final product.
